I’m thrilled to unveil NY Renews’ newest program that has been in the works for a long time: The NY Renews Adopt a Legislator Program!
The Adopt a Legislator Program will match coalition organizations to legislators, and provide you with tools, key intel, and a structure to build or strengthen your relationships with legislators.
The Adopt a Legislator Program will allow us to engage more legislators in our climate and environmental justice work, expand our collective lobbying and organizing power, and hopefully transform your own organization’s legislative engagement as well.

We’re looking for 1-3 organizations per legislator and encourage everyone interested to apply. The more organizations that participate, the more powerful this program will be! Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly to me if you have any questions.
This program will help us make history together. Apply by October 18th to be considered, but we recommend applying today!
