Last year, Congress heard from people of faith and conscience across the country that we need bold and just climate action. They received phone calls and emails, heard them at townhall meetings, saw them dropping by their district offices, and received a letter from over 3,400 faith leaders.
Thank you for all of the work you’ve done this year to help bring the moral call for climate action to Congress and the Biden Administration.
Now we invite you to join us as we turn our attention to the opportunities in 2022 to advance climate policy. Join us on January 25th at 2pm Eastern / 11am Pacific for a briefing on what’s next for climate progress in 2022.
We have unfinished work in Congress with the Build Back Better Act and its essential investments in climate action. We also expect some new opportunities to advance climate action, both in Congress and through agency rule-making processes.
IPL Federal Policy Associate Jonathan Lacock-Nisly and Organizing Director Bill Bradlee will provide a 2021 climate analysis and an update on our policy priorities going into 2022.
As we look to the future, we invite you to join us on January 25th at 2pm Eastern / 11am Pacific to debrief on 2021 and discuss the opportunities ahead.
With hope and renewed energy for 2022,
Tiffany Hartung
Field Director
