The University of Rochester Distinguished Visiting Humanist this year, Amitav Ghosh, will be speaking about his work directly related to climate change on April 7 at 5 pm in the Hawkins-Carlson Room, Rush Rhees Library. He is a climate activist and the internationally famous author of The Nutmeg's Curse, as well as works of fiction, including the recent novel Gun Island. Parking is free and available in the Library Lot. There is no zoom option for this event, but everyone on campus is vaccinated.
